Lesion myocardique aigu et COVID-19: mecanismes et implications pronostics

Abstract
Depuis la signalisation du premier cas du virus SARS-CoV-2 responsable de la maladie COVID-19 (Corona-Virus- Disease de 2019) en décembre 2019, en Chine, dans la ville de Wuhan, la maladie continue de s’étendre dans le monde réalisant une pandémie. C’est une urgence de santé publique en raison de sa forte contagiosité et sa létalité non négligeable. Alors que les manifestations générales et pulmonaires sont celles le plus souvent au premier plan, des complications cardiovasculaires ont été rapportées et associées à un plus mauvais pronostic’ notamment les lésions myocardiques aigues traduites par une
troponine positive. Les mécanismes des lésions cardiovasculaires de Covid-19 ne sont pas entièrement élucidés et sont probablement multifactoriels.
Des niveaux élevés de troponine sont associés à un mauvais pronostic et une mortalité élevée.
