Kimura disease: A rare case of parotid swelling with cervical lymphadenopathy and a review of literature

Abstract
Kimura Disease (KD) is a rare chronic inflammatory disorder that involves the subcutaneous tissues, occurring predominantly in the head and neck region, frequently associated with regional lymphadenopathy or salivary gland involvement. The etiology is largely unknown and it most commonly affects Asian men. KD is characterised by painless subcutaneous masses in the head and neck region, blood and tissue eosinophilia, and elevated immunoglobulin E (IgE)
