Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage in acute lymphocytic leukemia in a rural area: A case report

Abstract
Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is one of the complications in hematological malignancies which has high mortality. The mechanism of this event is still undetermined even though there are still many possibilities. Here we presented a case of 44-year-old female farmer diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia who suddenly had intracerebral hemorrhage during admission for treating anemic condition in rural area. In inadequacy of definitive treatment, supportive management is the best way of prolonging patient’s life expectancy. So far, no effective way was explained to prevent and treat ICH in patient with hematological malignancies. Further research for early diagnosis and prevention of its complication is needed especially in rural area to reduce the morbidity and mortality.
