Secondary Spontaneous Pneumothorax as a Complication of COVID-19 Infection with Bacterial and Fungal Infection: A Case Report

Abstract
One of the rare complications of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection is spontaneous pneumothorax. The pathogenesis is still unknown, but some researchers assumed that microorganisms could directly penetrate the lungs, including the pleura, to infect and cause necrosis of the lung tissue itself. HFNC and mechanical ventilation have also been reported to cause pneumothorax in COVID-19 patients. WSD installation is an action that is carried out accompanied by the administration of medicine according to the underlying disease. We report a secondary spontaneous pneumothorax due to COVID-19 and fungal and bacterial infections.

Key words: Pneumothorax, COVID-19, complication
