Cancer du vagin: Un cancer gynecologique rare

Abstract
Vaginal cancer is a rare disease of older women, with around 2% of gynecological cancers. Less than 15% of patients are diagnosed before the age of 50 and less than 10% of these tumors occur in patients under 40. This tumor can be a secondary localization of gynecological origin (cervix, vulva, ...) or not (bladder, rectum, breasts, ...). Its scarcity makes it difficult to set up universal care guidelines. The best way to reduce the risk of vaginal penetration of this cancer is to avoid known risk factors and find any precancerous lesions early and treat them promptly.
