Abstract
Objective: To investigate scientific productions on cystic fibrosis that guide the performance and assistance of health professionals. Methods: Review of the literature on the LILACS, MEDLINE, PubMed and CINAHL electronic databases, covering the productions of the last 10 years. The descriptive terms used were: "Cystic fibrosis", "Nursing" and "Clinical nursing research", which were conjugated to delimit the search. This review was developed in six steps. Data analysis was comprised of critical and interpretative reading of the selected texts. Results: Twenty articles were obtained and divided into two categories: subjective care, with the following subcategories: (i) Diagnosis of cystic fibrosis: weaknesses of the news and its importance, the importance of information and management; and (ii) Decisions in the process of adherence to treatment; specific or practical care. Conclusions: It became evident that there is a lack of scientific productions that form the basis of care elaboration and orientation, which will guide the performance and assistance of health professionals.
