A Rare case of Acute Cerebellitis in a young Female

Abstract
Acute Cerebellitis is not very common. It presents mainly with headache and ataxia. It may have either a benign self-limiting course or may present as a fulminant disease requiring long term hospital stay. Most of the cases in literature have been reported in children, who may have a viral or bacterial etiology with auto immune disease being a rare cause, in quite a few cases etiology remain unclear.
We present a case of a young Asian female who had history of undifferentiated connective tissue disease. She was admitted to hospital due to breathlessness but developed Acute cerebellitis and was successfully treated in secondary care.
