Nipun Ranaweera, Ranjith Kalupahana, Gunananthan Karthick.

Abstract
Psychosis is a well-known presentation of autoimmune encephalitis. We report a case of a young female presenting with psychotic symptoms followed by neuroleptic malignant syndrome secondary to antipsychotics. The primary diagnosis was anti-NMDAR encephalitis which was complicated with reversible splenial lesion syndrome. Following the surgical excision of the teratoma, she made a complete recovery.

Key words: Autoimmune encephalitis, Neuroleptic malignant syndrome, Anti-NMDAR antibodies, Reversible splenial lesion syndrome, Psychosis
